A thought to my post is that if this is what the media is thinking, even out here in the west, then even they aren't that impressed with the way Bama won the game. Instead more impressed with LSU, hence one of the reasons we maintained our positioning in the polls. Which if Bama doesn't play strong down the stretch and win out this might come back to bite them in the ars. In that, should they lose to UF in the SECCG and not fair well or lose in their bowl game, they very well could drop below us in the final polls. Just a thought. Nothing, at this point would make me happier.:geaux: :LSU231:

I think two things are against that happening:
    1. They will be more aware of it because of last year.
    2. This year they were robbed by the refs not their QB.

The coaching staff will keep them hungry for the rest of the year. A repeat of last year would be a disaster for them. Last year they were so disgusted with Lee's banquet of pick 6's they quit playing after the Bama game.

I have to quote this and say I agree 100%. My daughter and boyfriend came in just after we punted. First thing I said was "we've already been ripped by the refs, there's no way we'll win this".

Are there any pics/evidence of bad/no calls that hurt Bama? If so, one? We've got 5 or 6 that I'd love to hear somebody try to explain.

i think they are trying to say there should have been PI called twice on Peterson when their legs got tangled, which is crap, their legs got tangled, its in the rule book, inadvertent contact.

well this team still has the chance to play a damn strong bowl game! i still think that it's very much possible for LSU to make the sugar bowl. perhaps bama will be banged-up after playing LSU? maybe they slide a bit and lose a couple of games down the stretch? that would put LSU in NOLA.

of course, i'm on the record as saying that bama will beat florida. soundly.

Unless Peterson's interception had gone for a touchdown, surely the ref's would have figured a way to keep us from driving down the field and scoring.

Everyone chill. Peterson was clearly out of bounds.

Sure. Woulda been a pass interference call. Or a defensive holding. I'm sure something woulda happened. Even if we woulda got the ball back, drove it to the 2 inch yard line, we woulda gotten the shaft somehow. I am on the bandwagon of "We woulda been phucked regardless".

Hopefully the team uses this to beat the brakes off of Latech.
