Some one wake me when he actually signs.
I have learned my lesson. NEVER get excited about an 18 year old out of state kid committing early.

Not complaining but I have taken a wait and see attitude on recruiting.

True dat. Just like the kid (who's name escapes me) that committed but changed his mind when his mommy wanted him closer to home. Gunner Kiel, I think..

We have also had a lot of bad luck with California athletes getting homesick and leaving early. The deep south is a big culture shock to many suburban Californians.

Well, at least he is supposed to enroll in January so if he were to change his mind lsu would know early. And he sure seems comfortable with the idea right now.

Seems like he'd also be sitting behind a logjam at QB. Even more incentive to stay close to home at a school where he can see the field early. After the Zach Lee debacle and the stunt Kiel pulled I don't believe anything until we procure a signed LOI.

Good lord....are we a jaded bunch or what? LSU gets a commitment from a top-flight QB and all we can talk about is how he's going to break our hearts. Not knocking you guys; I just think it's kinda funny.

Personally, I feel pretty good that he'll be donning the P&G this time next year.

Well I was being tongue-in-cheek with the "chest" comment. I told you guys that would stick to all out of state QB recruits coming to LSU, plus we need comic relief amidst all the bitching and whining that goes on. Lol
