Well if Pierre was in charge of recruiting Monroe and Augustin, then I don't want him as our head coach. Half of LSU's problems stem from a poor in-state recruiting record. The other half came from the fact that Brady couldn't install an offense.
Due to traditional national powers and AAU you cant expect to lock down a state in cbball. I think we have done a great job for the most part. Now Brady and his offense...we are in 100% agreement there.
too gracious, or something. too interested in shaking everyones hand. and bent over slightly looking humble. not the normal, almost dismissive handshakes coaches give.
i watched it. my impression was that johnson played the best. outside of OM's poor shooting, the big difference in the game was that LSU didnt turn the ball over. it doesnt show up on the stat sheet, but i think its because of farrer. thornton is way too streaky. scored the first 10 of the game then a couple shots in the 2nd half. he could be a great offensive player if he could even it out a bit. the best thing about him is that he rebounds---invaluable for this team. ole miss's bigs couldnt handle LSU's length. johnson and randolph were making a living by going over the top of them for rebounds. i was very impressed by curtis and williams the last 3 games against OM. im surprised they didnt handle our bigs better.
Pierre is just as much to blame as Brady for not having a true point guard in eleven years. If he is the man I think it would be a big mistake.
I dont think it looked odd, I think he was trying to show thanks to the fans for their continued support. It may sound corny, but it was a nice thing to do. You asked what it looked like, well after the game CBP and the players went and talked to a lot of the fans. The little kids loved it. It was a nice thing to do.
unless you have serious inside info, i dont know how you can say that. is it not reasonable to think several PG recruits over the years liked cbp but didnt like brady?---TF posters have said that many bigname La recruits have said as much.
