    Has to be because of 3 wins vs. top ten teams -- much better resume than Bama.

    I honestly don’t care for now. I’d be ok if we were ranked 6 right now if it meant that we beat Bama. That’s the only thing that matters to me right now.

    Absolutely. I think Gary said yesterday that they were the first SEC team to do that in the poll era.

    Gary got that one wrong but I think it's because he wasn't paying attention to "his guys" in the booth. Mississippi State beat four teams ranked in the top 10 a few years ago. What Gary failed to mention (at least I didn't catch it if he did) was "top ten matchups." (Both teams ranked, at the time, in the top 10.)
