@GiantDuckFan looks like you need to exercise the ignore button. I’m fixing to do the same with some of these rambling fools.

Actually, your previous post about the football blue bloods made more sense to me. I read something a long time ago that reviewed the "blue bloods" of football. Started in the Big 10 and Pac 12. The whole SEC was looked down upon for years until we became more dominant.

The worm has turned. USC was the only team in the PAC that was ever a blueblood. Oregon might get there sooner of later if they can keep a winning coach, The Big 8/12 had Oklahoma. Nebraska and Texas, The Huskers are a mere shell of the Tom Osbourne days and it remains to be seen if Texas can get back up there. Ohio State and Michigan were the only Big 1o teams that could ever claim blueblood status and Michigan has dropped out. The Ohio State-Penn State matchup will tell whether the pedos are back on track, The ACC had Florida State and Miami but now it's Clemson and a bunch of also rans.

I would think that because of tradition and such that USC would still be there. Michigan is the same as well as Ohio St. Many will tell you that Texas and Alabama are also but I disagree. There has always been and probably always will be massive infighting at UT and for that reason alone I wouldn't want anything to do with it if I were a coach. The gump job unfortunately will always be regarded as one of the best in college football but I'm hoping that saban strokes out soon, dabo turns them down and they sink into an abyss so deep they are never heard from again.

It is what happens when you fail to score a single point on Bama for a few years.
