LSU fans, and I suspect it's like that everywhere, tend to be hyper critical because we follow the team closely and over analyze every play and coaches decision. But in case you haven't been paying attention the Tiger are getting a whole lotta love from the national media and even the poll voters. I never expected LSU to be #1 after the sloppy close win over Auburn. I even thought Ohio State would leapfrog us because of their blowout win over ranked Wisconsin. LSU'S offense and rapid rise to the top of the heap has been the biggest national story in college football. If LSU is 13-0 or even 11-1 with a close loss to the gumps we are in the playoffs. Just imagine the media hype if Joe Burrow and company face his former team for the National Championship.
