Also I don't understand why he took a 17 hour flight to play a tournament in Dubai. Is he hurting financially where he needed the appearance fee. Otherwise it made absolutely no sense.
Tiger Woods Should Not Have Gone to Dubai | The Big Lead .... and now we’ve got 41-year-old Tiger Woods citing back spasms as his reason for withdrawing from an event halfway around the globe that he never should have played in to begin with. There was no upside to Woods entering a tournament in Dubai. What good is it for an athlete who has suffered from back issues for years to fly for 17 hours when there is no need to do it? So what if they paid him a ridiculously large amount of money; he doesn’t need it!
Tiger Woods announced today that he has undergone successful back surgery to alleviate ongoing pain in his back and leg. 6 month recovery. Just hanging on to the appearance fees at this point. He did write a 100 million dollar check to the Swedish babysitter so the struggle is real.
Appearance fees are illegal on the PGA Tour. He could probably get them going to Europe. Wouldn't be much for only playing two rounds.
Well then, if its illegal then there is no way any of those shenanigans are taking place. Can't skirt the law in this country
If you think a Tour sponsor is going to risk losing their tournament rights by paying Eldrick an appearance fee, then you're wrong. The PGA Tour is doing quite well without him.
He needs to get them home movies out there before the demand goes under. Beer money, but still. Dude is a stah
Make no mistake, the PGA is doing ANYTHING because of him. You can deny it all you want but that organization is flailing around like a one wing dove without Eldrick.
