That idea paints the UGLIEST picture in my mind that simply THINKING about it makes me want to vomit.

Dear God, no! Not now. Not ever. Not even Field Turf.

"Swagger" nothing! That sounds like a big ole pile of dog chit! ...I'm just thankful you don't make the decisions reguarding TS.

The problem is the spring concert... A field that is resodded every year will not hold up. I've been on the field turf at Cajun Field in Lafayette and can honestly say I don't mind it. Keep in mind that theirs isn't the top of the line stuff that LSU could buy.

It would help if UL didn't leave with half of it stuck in their helmets when they came play us every so often.

We were resodding every year before the concerts but only difference now is that we get the new turf and expenses for replacing the field for free because of the concerts.

We can't get artificial turf. What would Les eat?

Anyone remember April Fool's day a couple of years ago when the Sports Info people put out an e-mail showing TS with purple artificle turf with gold stripes. It was a joke of course. But a lot of fans, probably including Red, went absolutely nuts!

So the Purple Gold and White Field Turf, most agree, is undesirable because it is a radical departure from tradition.

And yet, Wildcard Alabama may play for the BCSNC because of a radical departure from tradition, but this is OK?

I say this: Stick with tradition with regard to Tiger Stadium field colors and markings AND stay with tradition with regard to keeping Wildcard teams out of the big game.

Patrick Peterson just ran back a punt for TD !!!!
