:confused:It looks like the weather is improving for tonight (according to WBRZ radar) but, does anyone know how the field is prepped for game day? If so, is it ever covered ? If it rains on game day when would a cover be removed etc...? I've always wondered how this worked. :miles: Boy, the wait is killing me. Long day.

Long day. My youngest son is home from college for the weekend, he and I just went to pick up food for the weekend and next week. Had a good time, he's a cool kid. It's 4:30, I think I can make it to the game now... :)

The field at TS isn't covered. Most prep of the sod is done long before game day. It drains just great compared to may other fields and the grounds crew at LSU is excellent. Even when it's wet, it isn't a "sloppy" field.

Thanks for the info. Every week, around about Wed., I start closely watching the weather and hoping for a dry field where ever we're playing. Haven't had many so far this year.
