The SEC may never again see a QB and WR as dialed-in as Rohan and Josh Reed.

    I agree with this.

I think people are making compelling arguments for any of the top 4 years (06 Russell, 01 Davey, 03 Mauck, 07 Flynn) and it's not clear cut as to the order.

I change my mind Lee will move up to #1 if he wins a NC this year! Considering all that he has overcome in his career at LSU it would speak volumes.

On the other picks JaMarcus and Rohan were far superior athletes then all the others. However in college football IMO the best QB wins the big game and that's a national championship. SEC titles and non-champion bowl games are for everyone else. It takes a special player to win it all on the big stage. Now who’s to say that Tyler, Randell and the others wouldn’t have won it all with this years defense? The other thing I based my picks on were character. RP wouldn’t make my top 20. Jefferson wouldn’t be ranked any higher because of his inability to be a consistent passer. I think he is a good kid and by the end of his career he might just have to step up and lead this team before its all over. We have seen it before. Starter goes down the next men steps up! If he has a big game in the clutch down the road he might just reach Herb Tyler status!

Well Flynn was a better QB than JJ for sure, but QB rating, not so sure. (talking about JJ '09) JJ was over 60% completions, 17 TDs and 7 INTs. Flynn certainly threw for more ydg and TDs, and is correctly ahead of JJ on my list. But I specifically noted JJ in 2009...not his career.

Doesn't matter, Davey and Russell are ahead of them all, and Lee will be too if he continues as is.
