we look forward to returning the hospitality. in the mean time, stick around. we have several rival posters that are regulars and give us their perspectives on sports.
I noticed this too. We were looking for people to hang out with after the game and it was hard to find. One bar called the Ram would not let anyone else in because they were "winding down the crowd" to get ready for closing. I asked when they closed and he said 2am. It was 12:20am at the time.
Like Pharpe said, we used to all be together, but we have kind of broken apart a bit mainly due to people moving. Myself & a number of others in the group tailgate on the parade grounds. Others tailgate down by the PMAC while another group is usually out on Nicholson. But for one game a year, we all get together for one road trip together.
I think a big part of that was the fact that people had a really long day and were 2-3 hours later in their heads. When the game let out, it was 2AM for me (I am on EST in Atlanta) & there was no way, after sailgating & drinking all day, that I could make it anywhere but to a bed.
We are exactly opposite from you. Across from the visitor center. When Gameday comes to town, we get displaced over to your side.
Dont think I will make it over that way saturday thats along way to walk with a cane and bum knee but I'll mosey over that way to say hi!
