#70 could come a week from today. He owns Firestone South.

needs to drive it straighter than he did on Sat and Sunday. That's for sure. Firestone is not nearly as forgiving as this course.

So the guy is obviously not the old Tiger and yet he's won 4 tournaments this season already.

He WILL win the PGA. Book it. Throw all your life savings on that bet in Las Vegas.

I would be surprised if he ends up winning less than 8 tournaments this year.

He's only won six times at Firestone since 1999. I doubt that his driving accuracy was any better there than any other course he plays.

I agree. After his embarrassment at the British Open, it wouldn't surprise me to see him win the last major of the year.

It's being played at Hazeltine, which should sound really familiar.

That's maybe the one and only major (back in 2002) that Woods let get away and Rich Beem beat him by 1 stroke. Woods wasn't leading after 3 rounds obviously, but it became pretty much match play down the stretch and Beem prevailed.

Beem went on to win, er, uh, well he didn't win ever again, actually.
