Well Brett has finally agreed to give us a Fantasy Sports Section on the Forum Menu. So I am looking for opinions. Right now we have these fantasy sports that we play: TFFL NFL NFL Pick Em College Pick Em NCAA football Bowl Pick Em MLB Survival NFL NASCAR NCAA Basketball Tourny Pick Em Is there anybody that would like to play: NBA Golf Salary Cap NFL OR if there are ones out there that I dont even know about. The reason I am asking is because I am looking at setting up a Prize system this year. Last season the Top 10 of TFFL and the winners of the other leagues will all get prizes (WHICH THEY ARE COMING) What I want to setup is an Overall Fantasy League Champ. It would take all the fantasy sports we play here and the person with the highest point value based on where they finished in the leagues would win a trophey and T Shirt. Now for the trophy I am think either something small each year OR something nice that can be passed around from year to year and each year have the persons name engraved into. And then have the Top 3 of the most played sports get prizes and the least played and the Pick Ems just the winner would get a prize. The being able to play in the fantasy leagues is a privilage that we get to share in because we contribute to the site, so I am just trying to make it as much fun as possible. For this year the prizes will break down like this: Overall Fantasy Champ Top 3 for TFFL Top 3 for MLB Top 3 for NFL Top 3 for Nascar Winner for All PICK Ems Winner for Survival NFL Winner for NCAA Football So let me know what y'all think!!!!!
Maybe a list of the actual prizes will get them talking.... I'm okay with some cute LSU thongs for the Top 3 TFFL competitors... :wave:
I think you should have a gag prize for the player that comes in last for TFFL. So that I don't feel left out. And it would be cool if the TFFL trophy could be something like a football and the Champ can sign it or write something on it before passing it on to the next Champ. It could probably get pretty funny.
Ok I am working on getting a trophey for both the TFFL and The Overall Champion. I like the idea of a football for the winner to write on before passing it off. Any other ideas??? The other prizes will be hand made type things. This year the winners got Tailgating Cds they had about 30 songs on them all LSU related. Most of them from the Band. This year I am thinking of a colatage (sp) poster of 1 photo from each game from the 07 season with the Championship being in the middle. I am open to other ideas though!!! Hopefully after getting the cds it will seem more legit that I wil send something.....sorry it did take so long to get them completed and sent out!
