    i have always just used baby shampoo. nice and gentle. to deodorize (spelling?) i mix 1/2-1 cup orange flavored listerine into one gallon of water and pour over him then just lightly rinse that off. it also cuts the soap residue. it leaves them smelling good and the coat shiney. its a trick i learned when showing him.
