First I am sorry that I started a thread dogging JL. I have many stupid moments! I have decided not to cloud this wonderful football based fan forum with my dribble. I will make this statement that in my 40 years of watching LSU football I have never been more proud to be a Tiger. We had to go to Bama and we Beat Bama- LSU WON Bama fans!!! We laid out Aurburn Gators Vols - wow just wow. I am going to sit back and read the facts that so many of you bring to the site. I am going to enjoy each victory as it happens. I am going to relax in the fact that my Coach and his staff can handle each issue as it happens. My job will be to walk in the moment and collect my papers to track moments that I will want to recall the rest of my life. God Bless Geaux Tigers
Home sick and I just watched the Bama / LSU game on EspnU JJ won us the game at the 4:33 left in the game mark. After #7 took a stupid pill with the play on the punt. We should of had a 1st down on our 41 but because of #7 we had 1st down on our 5 with 4:33 to go. JJ hit the TE on a 1st down pass. What a call !!! What a call !!!! He then had a 18 yard run to set up rush plays to run the ball down. The smartest coach in the country didn't call time out at the end of our 3rd down run at 1:31 and Bama got the put fielded at 54 seconds to go. Nice job JJ and nice job Stud ! The smartest coach in the land let the clock run out for OT. 1st play call by Bama inside screen to #3 - he dropped it but LSU was ready to drop him ! 2nd play- they got 12 men in the huddle - 5 yards back 2nd play - nice call bad pass - a good pass #3 might have scored a TD - bad on Bama QB - great call 3rd play - great coverage and a coverage stack - man our DBs are insane good !!! FG- 52 yards - did not have a chance We get the ball #11 off left side - 4 yards 2nd down and 6 JJ rolls to left and gets blasted but makes a great pitch to Ford who just shows off with speed but steps out on the 7 - Vern didn't say anything because nobody motioned TD - the ref on the goal line ran to the 7 where he saw Ford step out. 2 rush plays for 0 yards We kick the winning FG dead down the middle - what awesome ST play this team has. Great win and yes Bama the best team won !!!!
