Well, I think you are splitting hairs here, Claire. RJF does have a history of academic problems. His GPA may have been passable when he dropped out, but as you point out, there was an "issue of him not wanting to do the work to pass for 2-3 more semesters", is why a lot of students drop out of school. So, I think that ChosenOne's statement that "he would not have made the grades", is essentially saying the same thing.

I agree. I just think it's unfair to RJF when people say he was failing and that he was forced to go pro. It was his decision. He had the academics to stay should he have decided to grind it out and do so.
