Tiger Baseball season opening series

On behalf of all of the “out of town” Tiger Baseball fans on TF, I’d like to make a request of any of you who are able to attend the opening weekend series in Baton Rouge against Centenary.

Please post some pictures from the season opening series here in the Den. I'm sure all of us “out of town” Tigers would appreciate the effort.

May I offer my annual admonition?

Do not freak out if LSU loses a game like this. It's early and IT'S BASEBALL!!!

You mean we can’t use this thread to complain, piss and moan about the sad state of LSU athletics in general and how the baseball team doesn’t have a perfect record and how our beloved Tigers (in virtually all sports except fishing) are now in the “has been” wasteland never to be heard from again on the national sports scene?

The baseball team hasn't even started playing yet and look at the sad shape they are in. They're tied 0-0, and a pitch hasn't even been thrown yet but what happened to this team in the last 8 months? Mainieri should be coaching this team and not riding Mardi Gras floats with Sean Payton. </sarcasm>

Bout time, for those who do the play by play for us out of towners, thank you in advance for the upcoming season. I look forward to many good threads as our Tigers seek to get back to and win another CWS. A bit of advice to those who freak out every time we are down a few runs, let the game play out before you lose your mind. If you just enjoy the game, ride the roller coaster, and wait till the final inning more often than not our Tigers find a way to pull it out in the end. :tigbas: :LSU231: :geaux:
