    Not really. At least two of JLee's pick sixes in '08 were forty or so yards downfield. I'm pretty sure one of them was against 'Bama, in fact.

    Yea, Alabama picked one off around thier own 40 or so and ran it back. Bad pass by Lee, but holy mackeral I couldn't believe the Tide can ran it back. It was in the middle of the field,deep, not a quick sideline blunder like the Auburn pick 6 that year.

    Exactly. In HS, our offense ran tackling drills from time to time just in case that happened. I think it was just another example of our luck that year.
