So, what's the best way to get BCS Championsip tickets once you know your team has made it? (if cost is no object)
I would not advise walking around Poydas and Loyola holding up one finger, like I did in 04....Too much risk. Ehhhh, StubHub would be your best bet, if the ticket is fake you pay nothing. Ebays prices are cheaper and you should be good regarding fakes if you buy from a high feedback seller.
if cost is no object, you're guaranteed to find some on ebay, but expect to pay top dollar... maybe if someone on here gets a few extra from reserve, they'd be willing to sell them to you for a small profit?
$95 now. Macattack, if I ever see you I'm going to kiss you. $250 profit if I sell now, of course I'm not going to. Let's go Illinois.
yeah no joke... I bought 4 last night. After reading this thread I went and checked it out and it seemed to good a gamble to pass up. Like someone said before.... worst case scenario money wise is if LSU and Ohio St win out, in which case I'd lose my $130, but LSU is in the NC so I probably won't really care.
Let's say Ohio St loses to Illinois or Michigan, or (God forbid) LSU drops a game... Anyone want to speculate as to how much we will be able to sell these tickets for on the open market? If it's Ohio St vs Oregon: ticket value?? If it's LSU vs Oregon: ticket value??
I'm guessing the $300 per share range if you chose the TR route. Now, actualy tickets I would think the value would be higher if LSU was in it...more potential buyers...same amount of tickets...
Gee, I wonder if your strategy got out? :hihi: Man, if LSU loses we are going to be emptying some Ducks bank accounts.
