ww.ticketreserve.com Thought I'd let you guys know about this regarding National Championship Game tickets... Many of you know about TicketReserve....you buy a share of a team for an event. Each share you hold enables you to buy one ticket to the specific event at face value. TicketReserve does this for the BCS National Title Game. LSU's shares are going for around $290 right now. So if you were to buy two shares for $580 and LSU were to make it they would charge you the face value of two tickets. If LSU doesn't make it you loke the $580. You can resell you share(s) on the market until the day the final BCS standings are released. To waste $580 this early is crazy. Anything can happen, we could lose in the SECCG, Arkansas, etc. Take a look at this: Oregon's shares are going for $32. So if you bought two for $64 and Oregon made it to the game you would only be paying the $64 plus the face value of two tickets (around 215-275 each i think) Think of what could happen: OSU could lose to Illinois/Michigan and LSU/Oregon win out: It's LSU v Oregon and you have two tickets (or more) to the BCS National Title game to see LSU play Oregon Or say the unthinkable happens and LSU drops on to Ole Piss/Arkansas/SECCG, Oregon is going barring a monumental collapse. In this case you could just sell the shares on the market for $250+ EACH . You are basically betting moneyline on Michigan in the OSU-Michigan game, but with higher returns! The only way you lose is if Ohio State plays LSU (which I'm sure you'd be happy to lose $64 anyways if this were the case) or if Kansas does the unthinkable and beats Mizzou and Oklahoma AND jumps LSU/Oregon (highly unlikely). You win if Michigan beats Ohio State or LSU were to somehome lose between now and then. You can buy up to 10 shares if you feel really good about the odds or are loaded. :geaux: I know a lot regarding TR and used them last year for the Sugar Bowl (LSU's BCS All-Access [no NCG]) and got 8 tickets for face. Let me know if you guys have any questions.
It's probably the best odds if you are a betting person. Not sure proof, but the numbers are very good. Also, the cheapest way to get national championship tickets if lsu-oregon make it there.:thumb:
Its the best returns you'll get on a moneyline bet on Michigan. I mean the only other factors is if Kansas wins out and if Oregon loses. Two highly unlikely things but well worth the $64 to me.
Why is OSU at $156 and LSU is at $290. I don't get it. If they think OSU is gonna lose, why don't they have Oregon higher than $32.
Please don't anybody who does not have the money to take a chance do this! It is not a guarantee, but is probably your best odds as an LSU tiger fan to see your team play in the national championship against the oregon ducks. Sure you can pony up more money for fan forward tickets to ohio, oklahoma,or kansas, but as far as dollar value, right now oregon is the best. Here is a link to the site. www.ticketreserve.com/
If you end up getting tickets to a game you don't want to go to... can you sell your tickets to someone? If so, do you have to sell them through TicketReserve.com? Or will you actually have the tickets mailed to your house, then you physically sell them to someone else?
