I'll address skill position players: 1. As is we obviously need our quarterback healthy. I have yet to see Mr. Rivers play. 2. The receivers look rusty on their routes and LSU lacks height. Injuries there would be a challenge to offset. 3. A. Blue and last years injury give me pause for knee injuries are a critical point of concern for NFL scouts and with good reason. LSU has a respectable number of backs but I need to see Blue .
Correction: Miles is saying Alexander had a sprained ankle but he was back today working with 1st unit. Avery can start practicing whenever he is ready even with a redshirt.
6 ft 2 IS really short for the new RS freshman receiver that is going to be saying "hi" down to all our short shrimp-sized WRs (OBJ, Landry, etc)
He's got the most leap, and it's been said that he'll be the one that we throw jump balls to. He jumped so high to catch a ball the other day that coaches were worried for a split second that he was falling too far.
I'm not as concerned about height as I am about ability to separate, get open and actually catch the ball before looking upfield and trying to run with it. Call me crazy !!
