Williford was out cold for almost 5 minutes. He had a bad concussion in the UF game last year. Not good...
He should pack it in. He has his long term health to consider. I hope Les doesn't even give him a chance to come back.
Damn, that's bad to hear. Hope things turn out ok for him. http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2013/08/lsu_starting_lg_josh_williford.html
1. DL to start with, got help coming in, the lucky part is the early games. The same side of the ball, LB and DB are deep. On the O side of the ball, now the depth is on OL and WR. Slack at RB. OC is one to keep an eye on also.Williford may be done. Remember this we lost him, Faulk and Hurst last year, didn't do to bad in the recovery. Faulk started the first game, then out for the season. Hurst and Williford were both out for the S.Carolina game. In that S.C. game LSU finished with a little over 400 ygs total offense. As with anything, when you have an injury also comes into play. 2. RT is one(Told to me last year, Hawk was one to keep an eye on this year), LB's is another(What three start), backup Safety, much can be said at Backup CB. 3. Delahoussaye is the guy tabbed for the FG's and XP's. This year Cam looks to score TD's. There are a few positions that are locked up, we'll know more in the coming week.
Per the Advocate : Alexander has missed the last three days of practice with an unspecified injury, but LSU coach Les Miles said he expects him to be available Friday when the Tigers hold their first full team, full pad practice.
Other notes: I have heard Ankle for Peterson and someone else told me he broke a bone in his foot. I will try to get clarification. Also, Armand Williams broke his Shin...Ouch
I remember reading a report about Armand Williams a few years ago (in August) and thought he would be a good WR one day but seems as though he could never get significant playing time. Same with Boone although he has seen the field a little more.
