So there are times to rush the field. How do we decide when is the right time. I don’t think it should be after every so called “big game”. That would lessen the value of both the games and the rush. To me when we should rush the field are seminal games...beating the gumps is one right now. As was Fla in 97, old Miss in 72 (Bert Jone to Brad Davis) etc. this was borderline. By the numbers it probably doesn’t stack up but it seems like the win changed things. As the article said we may be back among the ‘bullies’ of the SEC. if it signifies the launch of a new era of Tiger dominance then it was the right thing. Time will tell.
Its generational. Most of those fans werent born diapers when we beat FU in the 90's when they were #1 or whatever.
