I noticed his lack of containment a couple of times giving up the outside. Def not his best game.

right. it was much closer than it looked. 500 yards and 2:1 plays for UW. they pretty much outplayed us all around minus the scoreboard.

Thats a good point, however, that was Bo's third year at LSU and his defensive scheme was fully ingrained in the team. We have alot of football left to play. We'll know alot more after Vandy.

This is the most ridiculous argument I've seen. Not yours in particular, but this line of thought.

NO! The game was 31-23. That last score counts. It wasn't some fluke play because we had the Jim Mora prevent package in. They drove right down the field, converted 3rd downs, and stuck it in the endzone...fair and square. When it's 42-3 and the 3rd stringers are in, and the opposition scores a late one, THAT's when you use this argument.

What makes this REALLY ridiculous is that you claim only the points LSU gave them, but fail to acknowledge the points THEY gave LSU. Gimme a break. If you're going to discount the 3 before the half and the last TD, you have to discount the pick 6...and while we're at it, give 'em a TD in place of the fumble on the 4. There...they win! Now can we complain a little??

would you be less pissed if lsu blitzed a safety early in the last drive and uw got a 60 yd TD? then had time for an onside kick recovery? the D was underwhelming for the game but how can you knock the last drive? were you able to get lsu at -14.5?

    Wow, lol.

As far as Alem goes, he's not an every down 4-3 DE. He can be worn down. But I'd bet money he'll get drafted to a team running a 3-4 (Miami, New England, Pittsburgh, Dallas, KC, J-E-T-S, San Diego, etc.) and be switched to OLB and he'll do very well.

He's one of those players that will benefit from not having a GREAT all around year. NFL scouts will see he's a tweener like Merriman, Demarcus Ware, Adalius Thomas, Terrel Suggs, etc. I expect him to still come away with 8 or 9 sacks. Not every team has a QB with 4.4 speed. That's hard to contain.

We know KC loves LSU players. I would not be at all surprised to see him taken by KC. Merriman is wearing out his welcome in SD...maybe Alem goes here.

What? How can I knock the last drive? Because they marched down the field and scored. Simple.

Make a point when you post please. Mine was simple. You cannot discount the last TD they scored, or the FG before the half...and claim the score was really 31-13. No, no it wasn't. It was in fact 31-23.
