Thoughts about ESPN New Years Eve coverage?

Hey,
As much as I have enjoyed football and our games the last 2 years.
How about the stunts these guys are doing afterwards?
I think its great myself and tonight reminded me of last years jump and the fact that we just lost Evil Knievel.
I hope I got that spelling right!

Dude almost lost it on the way back down tonight. he landed too much on his back wheel.

Better to be too long than too short, I suppose.

Heck, I thought rooting for LSU was tough and has drama.
I've learned its nothing like myself rooting for these guys not to kill themselves
first and then succeeding next.
I think my heart skips a beat everytime I see a stunt like this!
I can only speculate on how their family members must feel!

Anyone hear the f-bomb and the s-bomb after the stunt was done? :hihi:

hah damn Clair. you guys asked the question, i gave my opinion. I guess you did not want a negative opinion. sorry.

I actually did push the button. 1.5 hours for 3 minutes of action. I am not denying that the guys did a hell of a stunt, but the stunt was not worth the build up. Hell the CMT 20 sexiest videos was more entertaining.

 

Yea, heard his mechanic say it over the radio right after. Then he said it like 2 seconds before his interview afterwards, at least he appoligized for it though.:grin:

The drop down was easily most impressive. I was telling my wife there was no way he sticks that landing.

 

With my fear of heights, i was sweatin bullets watching these two.

What Madison did was freakin crazy! I love how the announcers said how the first part of the jump was the "easy" part. You couldn't pay me enough to try that.

My favorite was when they interviewed him after. Did ya'll notice his twitch? I was LMAO! But i guess if i was doing crazy sh!t like that, I would have a twitch too!
