I know last week sucked (try driving 24 hours in an RV with your kids to watch your National Championship dreams go up in smoke) but I truly believe that our seniors, Matt, Hester, Steltz, Dorsey, etc.. have too much pride and will find away to bring this team together and beat Tennessee. These guys will get pissed at all of this and they will be motivated even if our coaches heads are somewhere else. Remember they play for LSU, and have dealt with change before, they have pride and will fight hard untill the end and win this for the school we all love. GEAUX TIGERS, DAMN IT! BTW, Actually was a great game for my three kids (6, 12, 15) to see because it was as exciting as they could have ever imagined. Now my oldest daughter wants to go to school back home at LSU, instead of AZ or California.
Tigers are beat up and exhausted. The D hasn't played well in over a month, even after being dubbed "frauds" by Lee Corso on national TV. Ainge has been sacked 4 times all year and makes pre-snap reads as well or better than Andre Woodson, who beat LSU. Ainge can make all the throws, has a lightning-quick release, and tosses the rock to the leading receiver in the SEC. Flynn has a shoulder injury, and even if he were 100% the only pass he could throw with consistency is the slant. UT's D will be all over that. Doucet is still gimpy. Toliver has a bum ankle. Lil' Holliday is questionable to play. Special teams: Easily a check to the Vols. Then there are the intangibles like the coaching rumors and disappointment in blowing the :crystal:. UT 40, LSU 24
Agree with all of that except the score, I also prefer to keep my beer glass half full. Nothing worst than having a half empty beer glass. :yelwink2:
If Tenn jumps on LSU early it could be uglier then this.. I hope our boys figh hard and win.. but I have this sneaky feeling that we lose... First time I felt this way all season..
I'm trying to pick their spirits up a little. Two bits Four bits Six bits, a dollar All for the Tigers winning Stand up and holler!   :thumb:
I think it all depends on what's left in the gas tank. It's been a long tough season for our Tigers. If our Tigers show up tired, dissinterested, beat up, or worried about their coaches leaving.... this game could get real ugly. Remember, this is UT we're playing!!! :geaux:
