So would you guys say that we were outnumbered 4 to 1 or 5 to 1?

I can understand why there would be more Tenn fans if it really only takes 3.5 hours to drive from Knoxville to Atlanta.

WE KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THERE WERE MANY LSU FANS WHO SOLD THEIR TICKETS AFTER THE ARKY GAME, SO, FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DID THAT, I HOPE THAT YOU WERE SURE TO SELL TO FELLOW LSU FANS. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DIDN'T CARE WHO YOU SOLD YOUR TICKETS TO, I SAY,

    "MAN, DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!!"

    :bncry:

I was there in Section 105 Row 6 and I loved driving back to my home in TN wearing my purple and gold.

My guesstimate would be 75% UT.

It was about the same in 2001, and I know that LSU fans weren't selling their tickets that year. What I saw was more empty seats in the upper endzone areas. None in bunches, but a bunch scattered around.

Part of the reason East teams out number the West teams is that when the SECCG was created the East teams (mainly UT) snatched up all of the annual SECCG tickets and have never let go of them. They just sell them when their team isn't in it.

I was there and was shocked that they outnumbered us that bad. I expected to be outnumbered, but it almost looked like the first time we played them there and we only knew we were going like a week before. Obviously, a good number of LSU fans dumped their tickets. I hope all those same wimps don't try to buy a national championship ticket now. But, I guess we all lost faith sometimes...

It was very loud in there and the LSU fans were rocking as well by the 3rd and 4th quarters. Lots of Go - Tigers going back and forth. I will say, LSU still held the crown though for tailgating. The massive tailgate under the overpass took the cake. They had the biggest pot (I wouldn't even call it a pot) of Gumbo that I've ever seen. It looked like something the Vikings would have cooked out of. It was ridiculous big. And the best part is that they were giving it away free to anyone who wanted some (jambalaya as well). Throw in the serious sound system and what more could you ask for? There was a ton of people there.

It was a great time all together. Go Tigers.

    I was there, sect 311, row 21

If you walked Centennial Drive past the CNN Center and Phillips Arena, you could see all the LSU fans with their tickets in the air. I spoke with a few of them, and the consensus was that many of them had friends that jumped off the bandwagon after the Arky game.

Shame on them, but good for me. I live in East Cobb and thought I would walk around and try to buy some tickets on the street. Got my tickets for $30 each. My section was very mixed, but everyone was very well behaved. Most UT fans are really cool people. Regrettably, most of the people I saw acting like asses were wearing purple and gold, especially at Jock's and Jills (the one in Midtown) after the game. I was pretty embarrassed a couple of times.
