I'm curious to know how many of us here on TigerForums went to the SECCG in the GA dome to see the LSU Fightin' Tigahs win the 2007 SEC Championship. Roll Call.
I was there...i didnt hear any corndog refrences all night. Everything was great except for waking up with ":geaux: " Elbow.
We (my lil bro and me) were at the game...I wasn't expecting to be outnumbered by so many...It was our first time in the Ga Dome...Great venue!.. :geaux: :crystal: :geaux: :geaux: :helmet: :geaux: :geaux: :champs: :geaux:
I was there and it was fabulous! Seats were great...with the exception of the prick sitting in front of us who wanted to stand the enitre game which made it difficult to see. Other than that absolutely great.
I was there... Those vol fans were loud. I was pretty surprised by that. But you gotta remember that a lot of LSU fans sold their tickets after the Arkansas game. However, we are back in the hunt!!! GEAUX TIGERS!
Ok I know a bunch of LSU fans sold their tickets but not 2/3 of them...WHY does the SEC East team always get more tickets to the game? There has to be some inside dealing there.
Here's my take... I think tickets were more available to UT fans because of the proximity of the venue ie. Ga fans dumping their tix after last weekend, Falcons fans giving up suites etc. As i traveled I-75N back home afteer the game, it was bumper-to-bumper Tenn. plates. UT fans travel well to ATL
I was there, too. Sec 305, row 2 seat 7! And I don't think the East team gets "more tickets"--their simply closer to Atlanta for their fans to purchase the tickets NOT already allocated to the respective universities. ...The farthest Eastern division team (from Atlanta) is Florida....and Gainesville is STILL almost 3 hours closer to Atlanta than Baton Rouge). Tennessee fans are more likely to purchase tickets, drive down to Atlanta for the game and then drive back to Tennessee right afterwards. I drove to and from the LSU/Tennessee game in Knoxville last season on the same day...it's only like 3.5 hours from Knoxville.
