    Oh, and I am so glad I logged in this morning! Only halfway watched the draft, and turned it off right after I saw that he had been selected by the Heat. When did the trade go down? I think MT will challenge Butler for the starting off guard job before his rookie season is over.

    i like this. the hornets need a guy who put the ball in the basket especially someone to kick to besides peja but unlike peja, thorton can drive too. it will be interesting to see if his size hurts him when trying to create his shot but overall i think this is a good pickup for the hornets and collison will do a decent job giving CP3 a rest every now and then. h

    hornets still need a swingman/slasher but until they get out of peja's and posey's contracts that probably won't happen.

    i hate guaranteed contracts. the NBA needs to adopt the NFL way of thinking on this and the NFL needs a rookie salary cap. these guys won't starve.
