What is everyone's opinion on this years Bash. I think the layout of the food booth were so much better and organized. No more long lines. I think there should have been more seats for the general admission I know the VIP area makes a lot more money and thats all fine. I just recommend more chairs for the non-VIP's. I thought there could have been more guest speakers. There seem to be a lot of down-time when there was nothing going on. I really enjoy the La. State Trooper who had been the coaches security for many years. It was neat to hear about how each coach was different. For what its worth, he also stated how Saban hates that he ever left LSU, which we all know that. Overall it was another successful Bash and I can't wait for next year. I like to hear what anyone else think.

i agree. much more organized than last year.

i do agree more seats for us regular folks are needed, and the sound system wasnt great.

but overall, it was a great day. the food situation was 100% better than last year!

100% better than last year. but yes, acoustics suck in there.

well, one of the speakers i really enjoyed was the state trooper who has been the driver/escort (whatever they said his title is) for lsu coaches for the past 20-something years. the only problem was that because of the god-awful sound system, i couldnt hear half of what he said. but what i did pick up, it was quite interesting, and that is someone you could listen to tell stories all day. (provided you could actually hear them, of course.)

all the vids of lsu football got me pumped, and i enjoyed seeing the vids of recruits. nice to see the guys we signed in action.

for me, it is worth the trip. since i am not down there to go to all the game, it gives me another shot at something lsu football. plus, taking so many trips so close together during fb season adds up and the $$ hits for flying or driving down are pretty close together. this gives me another trip and i can space out the expense from the other trips.

not to mention it gives me one last bit of fb before the withdrawal really sets in. :hihi:

yeah they showed a pregame video intercut with the movie "300" that was awesome. if anyone can find that, post it here, also the pre sec cg was good too using the same music as the pre sec cg video in 2003 (the "ali" one). i love that music.
