I'm picking: Georgia 31-27 (emotion will take them to victory) A&M 42-38 (if MSST could run the ball they would win) UF 17-13 (defensive touchdown wins the game) Ark 14-10 Mizzou 28-27
The only one that I would bet money on is... > Take Arkansas and the six points. I look for Ark to win straight up and be a force moving forward. They jelled after the LSU game last year, brought back a lot of that team and I see them jelling sooner this year. But I'd be willing to bet a bear on the following... > Take Alabama and two points at Georgia, but I'd be happy to buy a round of beers if Georgia wins straight up. > Take Miss St and the 7.5 points. > Take Ole Miss and spot the just over a touchdown. > Take Missouri at home to beat the ole ball coach by a touchdown or more. With regards to LSU, it scares me whenever we take a team, even a 40+ underdog for granted. I sure hope that this becomes a very boring game by the second quarter. EM sure has scored a lot of points and I hope that's not the case this Saturday.
I think you're putting a little too much faith in Arkansas. That is quickly turning into a dumpster fire, one from which Bielema may not recover. Sure, we can say they "jelled" about the LSU game last year (one of the worst-played, most emotionless of the Miles era), but if so, they shouldn't be as bad (again) as they are this year.
If that's the case then A&M is really over rated, and I mean probably the most over rated team in the top 25. Arkansas destroyed them at the line of scrimmage and had their defense just shown up on that last series, game over. I think you posted you thought A&M was highly over rated though so it fits your narrative. Personally I agree with you, still think they beat Tennessee.
I know that I'm in a minority, even their fans are giving up hope, but I think that the hogs will turn it this week.
If Bielema's season is a dumpster fire Butch Jones season is rapidly turning into a train wreck. Call this game the Keep your Job Bowl. Bielemas buyout is $15Million. Chump change for Wal-Mart and Tyson Chicken.
I like the Pigs this week, there O will roll UT I believe Dak will win the game for MSU Mizzou is in trouble with their QB suspended. Ole Miss & UF I have as a toss up, but am giving the nod to OM Finally, I thing UGA will be so up for this game and think of themselves as an underdog that theyplay their asses off and beat Bama by at least 10. Chubb will explode back into the Heisman scene. He is really a great back with very good backups.
