O definitely deserves credit. Good to get a bowl win, 10 wins, and finish top 10. Need to take the next step. I was tired of pissing away games when Miles was here, O said he’d be different.
This is fair and what @lsu_dane says has some truth to it, too, for sure. It’s just tough to be over critical coming off a fairly successful season and so much inexperience and injuries on offense, IMO.
I’ll give him credit for a job well done this year. I didn’t expect a 10 win season, bowl win, or 4 wins over top 10 teams. Losing players and injuries really put us thin at spots but they coached thru it, and for that....good job!
I expected 7, hoped for 8, so on that basis, pretty good year. On a play by play basis, not so good. Too many mistakes and penalties. Very disappointed in Red Zone. While it’s nice to have a great kicker, it’s not so good to use him. A lot. Geaux Tigers!
