I consider myself a diehard, freak, borderline obsessive fan when it comes to LSU football and baseball...but is it wrong that I think I yelled louder and havent felt happier for any other sports moment than this Saints win?!?!?

I rank my sports moments as

    1) Saints Super Bowl 44 win
    2) Warren Morris home run vs Miami
    3) LSU win over Oklahoma in BCS National Championship
    4) Blake Dean base clearing triple off the wall to beat Rice (I almost named by 1st born Blake after this hit...just didnt fit my last name :hihi:)

This is definitely the best day of my life.

No other sporting event has moved me like this.

And I can keep the title under my screen name!

You know, i told my boy earlier today that i have never been this hyped up for an NFL game in my life.

I wouldn't consider myself a true Saints fan because i really didn't start cheering for them and following them until around 1998 or 1999 whenever John Elway retired, but man i am so happy for the Saints and all the Saints fans who stuck with this team through it all. I remember people used to say, i hope the Saints win a Super Bowl before i die, well, alot of people can die happy now.

Think about this decade, devistated by 9-11, devistated by 4 hurricanes, 2 baseball national championships, 2 football national championships, a Saints Superbowl, man it has been the lowest of lows, and the highest of highs i can ever remember. Truely amazing. Plus the Red Sox won 2 world series.

My Grandpa, RJ Willis, who passed away in 1996, was a die hard Saints, LSU, and Boston Red Sox fan, i don't know what i believe in, but i sure hope that he got to see this.

can't argue with the items on the list. #2 and #3 might flipflop for me though.

the only reason I dont list that in there is because I actually expected them to win that game and we had just won it a couple years earlier. definately special and probably #5...just not even close to the other moments I listed, in my mind.

I also have to say, this was a fircking awesome game. No blowout, tough hard fought 60-minute game. And the SAINTS are the Superbowl Champions.
