Not a lot we can take away from this game tonight vs Vandy, as their offense is probably going to be the worst we see all year.

But the front 7 of LSU is shaping up to be possibly the best the SEC has to offer. So much rotation on that D-line and even linebackers to keep everyone fresh and fast to the ball.

If we can get the answer opposite Patrick Peterson to lockdown the other side of the field, as well as our young safeties developing, this defense WILL be special this season.

    Way too early to tell.

Our D destroyed a crappy team tonight, as it should have. But we got trashed last week by a dreadful QB.

Yes, that's why I said only IF the back end of our defense comes together.

But you have to love how active our front 7 is.

Without a doubt. More active than a Kardashian bedroom!

Baker played like a monster for a guy with a broken jaw. No wonder they want him on the field.

Pretty impressed with Mathieu as well.

ISLSTL, do you really think MSU is head and shoulders ahead of Vandy? Based on what? Just asking...

Theres not one game last year where the defense played this lights out, and they played Vandy and LaTech. I am pretty convinced that last weeks breakdown in the second half was a strong wakeup call to the defense to pull their collective heads out of their a$$es and they responded tonight with a beatdown. They do this against MSU next weekend and it could set off an attitude on this team that will make all of us happy during the rest of the season
