but first team all sec all four years.

also split time with mickey guidry similar to lee/hatch pre-broken leg.

the leadership on that team in comparison to this one is night and day. biggest difference i see. hell its night and day in comparison to last years.

Yeah, that was a tad before my time.

I found Hodson's stats on another board, but they are missing the INTs:

    1986 - 175-288, 2,261 yards, 19 TDS

    1987 - 162-265, 2,125 yards, 15 TDS

    1988 - 154-293, 2,074 yards, 13 TDS

    1989 - 183-317, 2,655 yards, 22 TDS

Agree..one can only use the RSFR excuses for so long and so many times for Lee alot of the times it's not that people don't expect a FR or RSFR or any player to make mistakes but it's the type of mistakes that get fans or even teammates upset or down. I know people want to compare Lee's RSFR stats to Stafford's FR stats to use it as a measuring stick but Sam Bradford (3star coming out) was 237-341 for 69.5 pct 3,121 yards 36 TDs 8 Int for a 176.5 rating his RSFR year and Robert Griffin for Baylor in his Freshman year right now is 129 -210 for 61.4 pct 1688 yards 11 TDs 1 Int so far.

Yes, Stafford is an excellent measuring stick, among others SEC QBs. And saying Lee with his 5 Starts equals a seasoned veteran is ridiculous. Sam Bradford is not SEC & does not play against SEC caliber defenses. Texas is Oklahoma's hardest game. Did Sam Bradford's team win? No. You think I'm joking about Big 12 "Defense"?

    Colt McCoy threw for 80%
    Sam Bradford - Lost - threw for 71.8 %

Where were the dominating Big12 Defensive Backs for either team?? Did they all go to Shoney's for a Big Boy? Did the Linebackers go to Burger King for a Whopper?

I think it can said that SEC defenses don't play against Big 12 offenses either. The point is that the high profile QB's in the SEC and the Big 12
were not as bad as Lee when they were at that stage. BTW, are you telling me that the LSU secondary would just SHUTDOWN, OU, Texas
TT, OSU or Mizzou passing games based on what you have seen so far?
Based on rankings, it does not appear that Texas will be Oklahoma's toughest game this year, I think TT and OSU will have all the chances they want to beat them.:geaux:
