90% of me says, F the NCAA. They should not be allowed to test for anything besides performance-enhancers. 10% of me thinks you gotta be smart enough to say, "No thanks. I'm on the football team and they test us."
He should have just got caught with weed and stolen guns then it would have only been two games. Wait, he doesn't play for Bama. Nevermind.
What you don't want to give him a participation trophy? Those are his penalties. That is why he has a two year suspension from football. I have to prove nothing. I would figure if the allegations were not true LSU would be all over this like white on rice. As they are not, its a pretty good assumption that it is True!!!
They aren't denying he smoked weed. They contest the other charges of the "fraudulent sample". Which added another year. Still. We had many players pop tests and serve just a few games. They weren't NCAA tests tho.
LSU is not contesting the ruling. Kristian and his attorney are. I hope it is not true that he tried to give a fraudulent sample, and he can play. If he did give a false sample then he needs to ride the bench. I personally am happy that they have gotten tougher on drug use, and increased the suspension time.
Did you even read the article? LSU coordinated the appeal last year. Also, they've tested him dozens of times with no failures.
