Hello works for Jesus. Here is the problem with Copi. The corollary to this "in some circumstances" thesis is that in most circumstances this cannot be safely assumed. If a bird and a cat are in a locked room and the bird disappears, it can be assumed that the cat ate the bird. If a bird and a cat live in the free world, nothing can be assumed. Moreover, the illogic that "it is perfectly reasonable to take the absence of proof of its occurrence as positive proof of its non-occurrence" is accepted by almost nobody. Positive proof cannot be asserted even in "some circumstances", only circumstantial evidence can be offered. Furthermore, just because evidence has not yet been found of a thing, it does not mean that evidence cannot exist. Much knowledge remains to be discovered.
Maybe this is the way you see things but I do not. I do not rant, I state my opinions and support them with the facts. When I cannot support my opinion with fact then I have to rethink my position. Your disregard for history is telling.
dude, I posted his entire budget proposal earlier. I don't even think you read them. Here it is again, in black and white: http://www.whitehouse.gov/sites/default/files/omb/budget/fy2012/assets/jointcommitteereport.pdf
Correct and I have never tried to defend that. No excuse for not producing a budget. But that is not what you were talking about. You were talking about the fact that Red, Obama and I think that the only way to balance the budget is to raise taxes but it simply isn't true. I posted the President's proposed budget to prove otherwise.
of course I did, I was laughing at your question about my cliff notes. by the way I do not agree with everything in his budget. while I do agree the majority of it, I linked it to show you that the President's plan encompasses far more than simply raising taxes.
