A few thoughts from some gator Fans - LSU is over rated

To me it's 100% totally up to Driskell. Last week couldn't have been good for his confidence, and we obviously can't run the ball to victory. This week he could respond to the environment in Baton Rouge, or crumble under the weight of it. He could be the new big man on campus, or he could be on the bench watching Murphy or Brisset finish the game.
If I was Weiss I'd let Driskell run all over the field and cross my fingers that he doesn't get hurt. His best chance at passing the ball is to break open a few 10+ yard runs first. It the Tigers knock him out, we've got a couple backups who are not much, if any, less qualified to have a go at it.
I do think LSU is overrated, but we need a 2 turnover margin to win.

There not as good as Bama, maybe overrated as well. We will need turnovers, and special teams play to set us up. Our defense is the key, we will need them to keep us close in the game. If they can do that we got a chance. If LSU gets up early though, it could be a long day.
We could be playing the Green Bay Packers, my forcast is that the Gators will win against anybody.

Sounds like very cautious optimism from the Gator fans.

 

Is that what you call it??? .. sounds more like blind delusionalism to me.

I just don't see where people get off saying Bama is better than LSU. There's nothing to make that case. These same deluded souls were saying the same thing last year as well .... and .... it didn't pan out then either.

Bama has some superstars .. but LSU has "team". It's been the key to LSU for years now ... TEAM ... not player.

 

I dont expect or want Gator fans to admit defeat. But hate when other fans play the over rated card. Who cares where we are ranked in the polls. Just one football team playing another.

 

speed, but not faster, some strength but not stronger and fans that travel well :thumb:

And a lot of young talent, with a new coaching staff that has a promising future.

I want my cake and to eat it to. I want a good game, because I love good games, but I want pay Florida back while they are down like they did us in '08 - So I want to SMASH!

 

It's fun to debate, but it will all play out on the field....
