You're making up shit again. No one ever accused me of being wrong when all I said was what Penn Wagers said. You didn't like the call. You didn't like his explanation of the call. It's the breaks of the game. But, I'm sure honest appraisals aren't your thing as well, right? You do like beating this drum to assuage your feelings over a loss and what it was in route to ...
It was much more than just that interception in 2009. Jefferson was knocked out of the game with a spear that wasn't called, the spot was moved numerous times. Julio Jones scored a TD on a clear hold by Alabama. Would any of this being called correctly have guaranteed an LSU win? There is no real way to tell. Maybe maybe not. LSU had trouble moving the ball in that game so my gut tells me no. But there were a ton of terrible calls in that game. Gumps won't admit that though.
Again I am pointing out your fanboy attitude with the gumps. You come on here acting like you make unbiased opinions by using evidence and stats but you don't. You act like everyone else that is a fan be that LSU, ole miss, cowbell, or a gump. I asked you then was that the right call and you took the politician way out and answered with a non answer by saying what the ref said. This was obviously and INT but you can go against the gumps. That's fine, I just don't like the hypocracy and this isn't the first time that it has come up that you guys get more than your fair share of calls going your way. Jeez just look at the large amount of holds that seem to never be called against you guys. It seems like it's part of the game plan hold hold hold on the line, b/c the refs won't call a hold against us.
If I started to get called out for my bias I would start trying to do shit to prove I'm not, but still be. Like flag Alabama for a lot of meaningless penalties so their litter can day shit like, well look at all the penalties that were called.
Again, making shit up. By rule, the way it was explained, was the correct call. Go look up the thread. Go back to the holding non-argument, again. Then look at the games this season and see the discrepancy in the number of times Bama has been called for holding versus their opponents. Stats, numbers, whatever you want to call it ... proves you wrong. Going into the Florida games opponents had been called for holding twice. Twice. Look at this years game between the Tide and Tigers; Alabama had almost twice as many penalty yards. Damn stats again, right? Holding? Called twice, once against both teams. Damn box score again, right? If I were to be sitting here complaining about the pass interference with Corey Webster in '04 you'd call me a piss poor loser. You'd be right.
