Well I'm glad you said that. Here at 5 sec in, do you see the back of his helmet? I don't and that would be because he is looking at the ground again in the slo mo replay by CBS (you might want to check out GD about the :28 mark "Watch him LOWER the helmet") in this one you can just barely see the back of his helmet but make no mistake, his eyes are still checking out a pair of stolen shoes being worn by the impostor.
Definitely lowered his helmet and led with the crown. Text book definition of a spear, unless you're a gump, then it's just a good hit. Any other team would have been flagged.
yep i wanted to side with the gump just for shits and giggles but 95 lowered the dead center of the top of his helmet which hit whoever our qb was, right in the chest. then again, this was the dude who said patrick peterson ball was out bc the gump wr touched it first. terry, you need fucking rehab homie.
oh boy you telling me I don't know anything about football. That's rich. You sir are obviously retarded and personify the word Gump. In fact you may even be Forrest.
That's simply not true. The definition of a spear is reliant on the initial contact being the helmet. It's not. Don't get the new targeting rule (which this likely wouldn't apply either due to the location of the contact being below the shoulders) confused. Yes. That's exactly what I'm saying. Like I said above, look up the definition of the rule. It's clearly stated. IF he's arms would have been by his side and he led with the helmet alone? Spearing. It is in the rule book. Hell, like I mentioned earlier ... it's like you guys crying about Murray being a defenseless player in the SECCG and the rule book clearly stated he was on defense.
