What f-ing bandwagon. This is pathetic, all the pro-miles people tried to convince the rest that Miles was good.....and when one of us gives him credit for a good job, you guys jump all over it.

Well, that's my point. I don't see how anyone here won anything. And the fact that there's this idea of a competition so that anyone COULD win or lose is kind of ludicrous to me. So that's what I meant by "what does this even mean". I don't see this as a win or lose thing because it's about opinion, completely subjective, with no way to prove anything. The football team is watching film and working out the kinks from a brutal night on a very hostile field and celebrating the continuation of an undefeated season. And some of us are on this message board still trying to stake out imaginary ground in an imaginary battle over some vague notion of winning....what? Some folks hate Les Miles. Period. They are VERY vocal. Some folks love Les Miles. Period. They are VERY few. The VAST majority of us are just LSU fans. It's too bad so few of the VAST third group bother to speak up. I'll repeat it - the football team deserves better than what some fans are giving right now. Anyone know if anyone showed up to welcome them home? Do we do that? Meet them at the airport? If that's allowed, that team deserved at least a few hundred loyal fans applauding them coming off the jet. That was a great win, in a great game, at a great venue. What else is there, really? :geaux:
Being supportive or critical is one thing. Most of us (whether we support the coaches or not) have pointed out deficiencies but in a respectful way. The real problem was the juvenile comments wanting to fire everyone or wishing physical harm. It's a freakin' football game and in the grand scheme means very little to me compared to the important things in life. It's an entertaining distraction but some people seem to be consumed by every little aspect of the game. I agree with Miles in those complain about the coffee but are not the ones taking the time to make it...and your wife is ugly. :hihi:
I just logged on and have no idea what the OP is talking about. I have not clicked on anything on the front page where fans were fighting until I did this thread. Don't send me links, I don't care to see it. Just want to point out that a thread about it ... oh well that's obvious after reading this one! Geaux Tigers!! 6-0
I'm in that third group. I dont love him or hate him. And i dont think that the lovers' really "love" him. But the haters, some of that is pretty strong stuff. Still nice to see most giving props and enjoying a good game and a brighter future.
I welcomed the Tigers home EARLY this morning. On Facebook, it said they had landed...and I pressed the 'like' button. Best I could do from Chicago.
Don't be shocked, unfortunately there are hardliners on both sides. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. It's a sign of the times; look at Tennessee and Fulmer, Auburn and Tuberville, Arkansas and Knutt, Ole Miss and Cutcliff, etc. For that matter look at politics. I'm sure there are other examples but you get the idea. Our society as a whole and more to the point our fanbase, is very limited on our ability to see past our own conclusions or ideas. To that I say, "Be careful what you ask for". Sure, Auburn and Arkansas have bounced back for now. But what about the others. And do we as a fanbase really want to gamble with the unknown, espescially when you're talking about getting rid of a guy thats 5th in wins during his tenure? Yes there are issues, but I choose to appreciate the forest and not burn it down cause of a few bad trees. As a fanbase, we ask our team to be CLASSY, BALANCED, PRODUCTIVE. Maybe we should try it. (as we hold hands and sing the fight song) I feel so much better after a win! :geauxtige
