JL has done very well this season. If you notice, I say that a lot. He's our guy and I am happy he is. I am still skeptical, obviously many of you are not, great. I can still have an opinion. As for being stuck on stupid, just look at the tape, it does not lie. JL stares down his WR's and that is a big problem, I will leave it at that.
On that same note, at least three of Lee's pick 6's would not have been pick 6's if the receivers had caught the ball and not tipped it to the defender. Let's not play that game...
Uh...I think everybody so worried/concerned about this should chill and take a breath. Lets see what the coaches do in handling the situation; I am sure they have been preparing for this and have a some team/offensive plan to handle JJ being back in the mix. Whatever that is they will try it and if it does not work I am sure they will re-evaluate. Bottom line I believe and trust that no matter what they will do whatever is required to WIN THE GAMES!
I really would like to know what your definition of a really good QB is, because from where I'm sitting that's EXACTLY what Lee is. Not every QB has to be Andrew Luck to win a championship. And newsflash in case you missed it. We've been in the deep waters since GAME ONE.
Did Eli Manning? (win a championship that is) ETA: For that matter has Andrew Luck? (not that I've heard)
I don't have a problem with you having an opinion. I just disagree .. I don't think Lee has hit his ceiling. Maybe he does stare down his receiver .. that is something that can be coached [further evidence he has not hit his ceiling]. But the leadership that he is showing on the field is something that is not as easily grasped as mechanics. .. and it is what has been missing the last two years. You have a right to be skeptical ... just as I'm skeptical about CLM leaving a good thing alone. Just as I'm sure your skeptism is based on Lee's past performance .. my skepticism is based on last year, when Lee should have replaced JJ. Yes, CLM has stated that Lee will be the starter going forward, and JJ will be utilized here and there based on his skill set. .. and I'm happy about that. ..but like I said, I'm skeptical that it will stay that way. I just hope that Lee is not skeptical about it ... because if he is, then that fricken monkey, the one that will kill his performance because he's afraid of making a mistake, .. is going to crawl right back up their and ruin what is turning out to be the most enjoyable offense we've had the pleasure to watch in a long time. :geaux:
Well put. I don't think he has hit a ceiling either. Another thing I have REALLY enjoyed watching is J. Lee checking into a play based on the defense he sees at the line. That is something we have not seen since oooooooo 2007ish with Flynn.
