    Phlash,

I, along with many of my family, friends, and neighbors were devastated by Katrina. We want to move on. We don't appreciate people saying that "New Orleans isn't nearly what it once was." Yes, a lot of people view New Orleans negatively after everything they saw on TV with Katrina and its aftermath. But we don't like hearing that, especially because it is not true. New Orleans is just as great as it has always been. Fortunately, with Mardi Gras, Sugar Bowls, BCS National Championships, Superbowls, etc., more and more people will continue to visit New Orleans, and the negative Katrina image of New Orleans will be a thing of the past for everyone, just like 9/11 is for now New York (not to be rude to those who still suffer as a result of 9/11). But at the same time, as MasterMind pointed out, there are still people suffering from the effects of Katrina. We need to support them 100%.

No problem. It's obvious that all you are trying to do is get LSU fans pumped up for this game. Nothing wrong with that.

My whole take in this whole thing is that LSU fans don't need anything else to get them more pumped up for this game. In my life, I've never been as excited as an LSU fan as I am going into this game, and I think most of Tiger Nation feels the same way.

I just really, really hope that the Tiger fans in the Dome today take Ohio State as a serious, highly-motivated, highly-talented, threat to our victory today. I know coach has our boys ready to go, but I don't want our fans in the Dome letting us down just because Ohio State might come out stronger than most people expect. I hope our fans expect Ohio State to come out very strong and beat us up a little bit. If that happens, I don't want our fans to be stunned. I want them to expect it and to keep cheering their butts off for our Tigers. I honestly believe that our biggest key to victory to this game is our home field advantage, and our fans taking 150% advantage of that.

In a game of this magnatude, you can't convience me that this game "means more" to one team over the other.

There is TOO much at stake for both teams.
