This DL better "have a want" for a pass rush

Watching the way JTB plays, its hard to imagine he follows any semblance of a plan.

 

Manziel is actually throwing the ball a lot more this year and seems to improved as a pocket passer. I had confidence in the beginning of the season we could contain him and hit him hard a couple times but now I have no confidence in our defense to do anything.

I'm just imagining Manziel scrambling around and buying time and seeing our secondary try to cover their receivers in that time and it is not pretty. Our secondary can't cover even when the QB doesn't have much time. This one could be bad if they don't step up. Texas A&M's defense isn't good at all but they do have some playmakers that can cause some turnovers if we're not careful. Mike Evans may have another 300 yard receiving day, but it's okay since Beckham/Landry will probably have 350.

 

Well don't expect any coverage sacks. Right now I doubt our young secondary can cover their eyes.

Just make sure it's not a lack of lube you have. It's gonna hurt.

That comment had nothing to do with our offense.

 

The biggest difference is that this year we do not have the athletes to match up man to man like we did last year, mobil qb's give this years defense fits, the only reason we beat auburn and Miss state as bad as we did, is because those QB's are not nearly as accurate passers as Manziel is.....I will be pulling my a** off for LSU but....a mobil accurate QB will have a field day with our defense......we just need to come up with some turnovers somehow, and a score or two from special teams would help!!

Bama assigned their "spy" to JM and he was AWOL most of that game. JM is a "feel" player who will always adjust to what's coming up. Like backyard football.

Our hope is that we can keep him behind the line of scrimmage with his feet and have triple coverage on that Tight End. He is a beast...

 

I'm pretty sure your score prediction is no joke. It will be a shootout. Manziel will get his, and make no mistake, that we will get ours. Just like the UGA game, it should be fun, fun, fun to watch.

The only difference for me is that I really hate A & M and Manziel, and I don't harbor such animosity for UGA.

 

yes UGA is a pretty likable team. They have a good head coach, he is a good man.
