lol. That is funny. In 2003, Shaquille O'Neal tossed the phrase out when referring to Yao Ming. Rosie used it somewhere once also.
Unless you're talking about a lyric from Whole Lotta Rosie, I know not to whom you refer. You'd think someone would have caught this woman on cell phone video. Did nobody in Detroit find it off-putting enough to capture the moment?
*sigh* I really did know. I was ignoring the reference to the civilian under naval training to whom you were referring. Henceforth, we should only acknowledge ACDC's version of Rosie as all that exists.
Are you all surprised? There is a strong essence of racism and nativism in the African American community. There are many examples. Korean shops have been specifically attacked in the riots over the years for one. There have been articles written about discrimination by African Americans against native Africans. No matter how much I sympathize with the African Americans because of the road blocks and challenges they’ve faced they have racist feelings too. I believe you can’t ignore that ALL of us have some amount of racism. It’s in our DNA as humans. It’s not that you have racist impulses it’s that you don’t allow them to govern how you act.
Is it offensive if you refer to Tommy Chong by his name? Chong is a pretty common Chinese name. Somewhere in the world there have to be a few of them named Ching Chong.
In most of the cities I have spent any time in both the north and south most of the black people I encounter were at least on the surface cordial. Only in Memphis was there thinly veiled hostility toward white people. OK, I get it that Martin Luther King was murdered there but that was 50 years ago.
I have no idea what you're talking. Eff u shane before you come in here and says you're not surprised.
