Being in the SEC definately has its advantages in college football. I see your opinion and understand it. Hope it doesn't happen. I'd hate to stay in the ATL all weekend with a sad start to the season. In our bowl game last year vs Pitt it looked as if on the field we matched up pretty even. With that said you could be rite with the SEC being a step up in atheletes.
OK guys, calm down. While Carolina's defense may be good, their offense, especially the QB situation is in shambles...much worse that ours. IF we do not turn it over and let their defense score, it will be a route. Regardless of what might be possible and what should be possible, they have no QB. Period. You guys need to relax. Either this one is in the bag, or we do not deserve to win it. Period.
UNC has a ton of atheletes on D. They play a SEC type of D. Very athletic, physical style. Overall the ACC produces a lot of great athletes. What seperates the SEC from the ACC and other conferences is in the quality of depth. UNC will present a lot of challenges to LSU.
no doubt, but LSU must show up as well. i couldn't care less what UNC does, all i'm worried about is LSU showing up. :thumb: this, and whoever makes the biggest plays on offense (obviously.) i'd like to think that we have the better weapons on offense by far. as for losses, ole miss was 36 in total offense, penn state was 30. as for wins, washingston was 74, vandy 111, USL 85, state 78, UGA 66, auburn 16, tulane 110, louisiana tech 77, arkansas was 19 teams on our schedule in the top 25 for total offense were: florida (3,) bama (15,) auburn (16,) and arkansas (19.) that doesn't show much other than we struggled against teams with terrible offenses and beat some teams with pretty good offenses. and vice versa. there are a lot of things to take into consideration. 2009 FBS (Division I-A) College Football Team Statistics Leaders for Total - ESPN
