Their is a recruiting forum. http://forums.tigerfan.com/lsu-recruiting/108202-gunner-kiel.html Interesting thread title
It's part of Miles' MO and I have to admit it's pretty effective. Coaches have much to prepare for when they know they could see either one or both. In the end they end up spending less time preparing for what they will see, either way. He's consistent with this approach and it's not exclusive to the QB position. It's also served us well with injuries, suspensions, etc.
Well, I think the hat has to keep recruiting qb's, regardless of how much pt each of them get. You don't want the whole Ryan Perriloux/Andrew Hatch/Jarrett Lee situation rearing it's ugly head again.
So, you think it is a bad thing to recruit highly touted QB prospects??????? Our projected starting QB next year could actually be one and done if he were to have a spectacular season like Newton had last year and you think we would be wrong in bringing in a guy who some consider the number one QB prospect in the country????? Wow
I think part of Miles' offensive style is to have that mobile quarterback to go along with the pocket passer.
