again, it isnt a fascinating issue, because obviously the tail was found and you are lying and crazy. FACT: Blast expert Allyn E. Kilsheimer was the first structural engineer to arrive at the Pentagon after the crash and helped coordinate the emergency response. "It was absolutely a plane, and I'll tell you why," says Kilsheimer, CEO of KCE Structural Engineers PC, Washington, D.C. "I saw the marks of the plane wing on the face of the building. I picked up parts of the plane with the airline markings on them. I held in my hand the tailsection of the plane, and I found the black box." Kilsheimer's eyewitness account is backed up by photos of plane wreckage inside and outside the building. Kilsheimer adds: "I held parts of uniforms from crew members in my hands, including body parts. Okay?" Debunking the 9/11 Myths: Special Report - Popular Mechanics again, the issue isnt 9/11, that is quite well sorted. every lie you have is opposed by mountains of evidence. the issue is why truthers exist. that is what i dont get. why are some people so terrible at thinking?
there is a difference between "not mentioning" and "indicating no tail section". it also didn't mention anything about dead people. does that mean the article indicated no one died?
the truther routine always goes this way: "... wouldnt you think the official story is untue if it turned out that x and y and z?" and if in fact those things were true it would, but every single thing, and i mean literally every single bit of truther nonsense is a lie. and not only are they not true, they are crazy and you would have to be disturbed or somehow a hugely flawed person to ever believe it.
What is wrong and why are you taking this so personally? FSA has tons of controversial topics and unpopular notions that get tossed around. It gives the a's something to discuss beside rehashing the same old topics with the i's. The guy is bringing something new to the table. I'm having a ball hitting Flabengal's softballs out of the park and you're getting all stressed and unpleasant. Chill . . . it's taking years off your life.
It's the sheer ignorance and stupidity of truthers that sets martin off. It does the same to me but I let martin speak for me.
it doesnt make you curious about people and their ability to believe things? dont you struggle to comprehend why people can think crazy stuff? why a person can be faced with two choices like either a building burned and fell, or loony conspiracy that has maybe a thousand impossible things, and they are eager to choose the stupid one? it doesnt make you wonder what is wrong with people? that isnt really a factor. i am the same way about religion. but this is like a new religion that we are watching develop. instead of moses parting the red sea thousands of years ago, an equally stupid set of ideas is developing right now. a missile hit the pentagon? cmon. again, when i said before that it seems like only a retarded person or child could believe this stuff, i was serious. when an adult believes this it is like you are telling me that michael jordan cannot dribble a basketball if he is in hawaii. adult humans have the ability to think, i have seen it. why in this one case, this one specific thing can humans just lose the ability to not be idiots.
Sure it does. But it doesn't annoy me that people question authority. Plus I see a big dose of tongue-in-cheek from FLAbengal who I suspect is pulling your chain a bit. I think he has a curiosity and wants to see how valid some matters are by putting it up for critique. I can slice his arguments to ribbons with great glee and without being offended or taking him to be some kind of wingnut. He just has some bizarre notions . . . and brother, that ain't unusual around here.
well i dont like when i dont understand something. and i geniunly dont understand why truthers are so terrible. i understand almost everyone i disagree with. youa re for big government? ok fine i see, you like the idea of planning and order and control. i disagree, but fine. you are into globwal warming? no problem, i know why you are guil-ridden and stupid about the environment, i have thought about it for years. you are religious? no worries, there are so many reasons why you cant escape it. i struggle, but i can get it. but truthers, there is no excuse. it makes no sense. it is like you are staring at a square and calling it a circle for no other reason than to be excruciating.
Red55: "to ribbons"?.....you make a good case, certainly but I think an impartial jury would certainly be undecided. martin: Well, I really do disagree with this. There are so many unusual things that happened on that day, it is not outlandish to want to take a second look. By the way, I didn't believe this stuff either for several years. It is a big idea to wrap your brain around so I don't blame you for not buying it. Have to check in later but will leave with this for now: -3 steel high rises collapse for the first time, ever. -military drills take place the same day, confusing and degrading the military's ability to respond. (coincidence?) -put options (i think thats what they are called) are placed on Wall Street against United and American airlines way outside the volume that would be considered normal. -President is notified and chooses to remain in a kindergarten classroom than be briefed immediately -Pentagon is hit exactly on the side of the building that has been reinforced. -Wreckage at crashsites is different than typical crashsites. -The owner of the Towers apparently has a clause in the insurance contract that pays double in the case of terrorist attack. (have to check on that, just what i read) There was a discussion about probabliity in another thread. All these things happening in the same event 9day) seems to me to be suspicious. Yes. Yes, that does seem odd. I say, look into it again.
