What if climate change is a result of man's overindulgence? At one point alot of people were telling Pythagoras that the world was flat, and it was widely accepted. But they were wrong. How can you know for sure?
You are falling into their trap. They prey upon your fears of the unknown. Like, now 2 cokes a week will cause pancreatic cancer. OMG Could it be true? I'd better stop drinking Coke now. Give me a freaking break.
We have to rely on ourselves to judge what is or what is not healthy or is causing global warming. Admitting that there are things we don't know does not make is fall into the trap, but not accepting their opinion as fact without hesitation is. I think the world is experiencing changes in its weather patterns, and that it is part of a cycle that has existed since its beginning. That does not mean I've asked my dog to stop producing methane or am driving an electric shaver back and forth. It all comes down to a basic question; who is more trustworthy and reliable to you, you or the government?
are you not the one who pretends to know that our carbon emissions are having an effect? how could you know that? do you think you understand it well enough to enact massive legislation to prevent it? you dont. you know nothing. so dont favor legislation that intends to mitigate the things you have no clue about. stop being a terrible person.
