It's just frustration from the SEC winning 5 going on 6 in a row. You dont need a perfect qb when you have a good D and solid running game.
Just some morons who can hang 7 TDS on the LSU D on their playstation. They can't figure out how everyone else can't do it in a real game.
I agree 100% on the QBs. However the OL's and RB's are the real deal. If either team had a legit QB either could be the best team ever.
These guys are game managers. Our 2 BCS :crystal: since 2003 were won with game managers, not stud QBs, so what's the point? I don't get it.
At least Pat Forde knows what's up. LSU defense clamps down to win a classic - College Football - Rivals.com
How can a true NCAA football fan, much less college football writer criticize this as not living up to the hype! That's slander! This was an epic battle! I love seeing TD's, but I enjoy great Defense more! This absolutely lived up to the hype! Our D only gave up 96 total rushing yds, & only 89 to Richardson. We put up 144 on them, almost tripling what the gump D has allowed all year! If we had a QB that could throw under pressure (coming next Fall, Z METT!), we could've won by 14! Their secondary is not nearly as good in coverage that our boys are. Barron is a beast, but not their CB's. But Les did what he had to do, he changed the game plan. Thank God we have a coach that can make tough decisions like that & suck up his pride for VICTORY!
Correctamente! Well, when field goals are removed from the NCAA Rulebook as a means of accumulating POINTS then we will have to use other means to win close defensive battles. To cry about low-scoring games of the magnitude and importance of last night's "SmashMouthFest" is to admit that you don't know diddlybop squat about football. Go watch the NeonBlueSmurfs if you wanna see an excess of meaningless points on the scoreboard......
I've seen a lot of other forums talk down about the LSU-Alabama game by ridiculing the offenses but they never discuss the 18 combined NFL defensive prospects that took to the field last night. When you have more NFL defensive prospects on the field than some teams produce in decade, scoring is a luxury.
